J & Dix transmission

I had my transmission rebuilt by three different shops, and each one only lasted a few weeks before it failed again. I finally brought it here, and they gave me a great price. It’s been 18 months now, and my transmission is still driving perfectly with no issues. I definitely recommend them.

I had a very disappointing experience with this shop. My Machanic referred I called ahead and spoke to the owner about getting my catalytic converters replaced, and he gave me a set price. When I arrived, I confirmed that same price again with his son before they started the work. They told me it would take 2–3 hours, but my car was there from 1 PM to 5:30 PM. That part wasn’t even my main issue. The problem started when I came back to pick up my car and they suddenly tried to charge me a different price than what I was originally quoted. I had to go back and forth with them just to get them to honor the original price. After I finally paid and got in my car, I immediately noticed something was wrong. 2 different lights came on, my dash the car was shaking, and it wouldn’t go over 40 mph NONE of this was happening before I dropped my car off . This place is a rip off. My car was driving fine before taking my car there. After repairs my car was not drivable. Kept saying this and that was wrong with my car but I wasn’t having any issues before he worked on my car. Do not take your vehicle to this place.

OK, I’m gonna try to make this very short. I took my transmission to Rebuilt at a big chain store called AAMCO The customer service the quality of their work only lasted for 15,000 miles! I was in a huge jam so I found this place on Google JD transmission. I can tell you the owner was nice. He was polite. He was very understanding of my situation. He rebuilt my entire transmission at a cost. That was absolutely amazing and didn’t kill my bank account. It took him two days from start to finish. He put excellent pots inside the transmission and was clear throughout the whole process if you are ever looking for an honest person with a great shop, give them a call they standby their work. They communicate very well with you and they show you the work at that is being done five Stars.
